Let’s Go To Work!

 Key Word Tools

A much-needed tool is one that helps you find keywords. These are words or phrases that people search for in google search. This enables you to get your page, post, or website ranked in Google so that more people will find it. Wealthy Affiliate offers a free keyword tool that you can use as a WA member. There is also a more extensive tool called Jaaxy. They offer 20 free searches so you can try it out. It is a tool that I use all the time.

A Multi-use tool

There is a tool that I use called SumoMe. It is free or there are a number of upgrades.  SumoMe has many capabilities including traffic indicators (it shows how far down a page people are reading your content), heat maps that show what people are clicking on, sign-up templates, and much more.
I have access to an easy to understand tutorial if you  sign up.

How to spell and punctuate for a professional presentation

A tool that enabled me  to write professional posts and I use it every time I write for my website is Grammarly. Grammarly has a free service that helps with spelling and punctuation. This tool is also good for students, Individuals that prepare documents, or resumes, bloggers, or anyone that needs a proofreader.
There are also more advanced programs that you can pay for that are affordable and well worth the business expense.
Grammarly also gives a regular report as to the corrections that have been made and how you compare to other writers. They will also let you know of advanced errors that are correctable with their advanced program.

How to get Independent Label rights

A tool that can be used to build an email list and also for sales are ebooks with Independent Label Rights (ILR). I have found an excellent company that offers access to ebooks and software that you can have rights to and modify, sell, and offer to build a list. They have 100s of 1000s on all topics. Here is a link to their site it is free to try and just like WA affordable.

This was a really help post and I was glad to come across your site because I have been looking for an independent label rights company other than the one I knew about. I signed up for their free membership so thanks for that information! I imagine it will come in great handy for me to continue to build my email list.

    Howdy Marty,
This was a very helpful post. I already use Jaaxy and just started with SumoMe. I am trying to put together a quality online business toolbox that will help me compete with some of the more financially equipped websites in my chosen niche. I have been thinking about incorporating some infographics on my site so thanks for pointing me in the right direction for that.
    Wishing you much success.

Hi Shakem, thank you for checking my tool page. If you have not tried Grammarly it is worth checking out. I have been away from writing for many years and it has been a very valuable tool for me in making a good presentation. With the free program it helps with spelling, punctuation, and grammar usage.

Well this is all incredibly useful. I’m going to bookmark this page for further reading. A lot of these tools seem like they would be a huge help for me and my business.

Thanks for the article and all the tips that come with it, I already use most of these like Jaaxy for example, but I’ve never heard of Grammarly. I’m definitely going to check that out when I get the chance.

Hi Jaylin, I am glad that you found this tool page useful. Grammarly has helped me tremendously. If there is something that it brings to your attention that does not need fixing you can click ignore, it is all very manageable.
Thank you for checking my page and if you have any questions or suggestions I would like to hear from you.

Too awesome I love your post. It was quick too the point but very powerful. You have shown me some great and innovative tools to use while building my home business. I am a small business person and I am not the best online.
I just know how to get around the kitchen a bit so to speak. But this would help. I love the one called Sumome I think it is. It shows you how far down the page people are going and what they click on. Too cool. Has it helped you in your business ? If so what has it helped you with?

    • September 20, 2016 at 1:31 pm

Thank you for your comment. SumoMe showed me that I had to move the call to action to where most of the people are still engaged. It also adds forms for people to sign up for your news letters and posts so you can build a list. The heat maps show what people are clicking on and now I have a much better idea what visitors are interested in.
Grammarly is also a very useful tool to help with spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure. It is very good as a free tool and affordable to upgrade.

      Hi Jose,
I am glad that you found my article useful. I too had a very negative and aggressive boss that caused me to have anxiety attacks. I know it wasn’t me because my next boss is still my friend.
Dealing with bad management is a trial and not easy to deal with. That is good incentive to build your own business. I speak on dealing with anxiety on my”How to Succeed with Network Marketing page”. http://buildinghomeinternetbusiness.com/how-to-succeed-with-network-marketing/

Thanks for these great resources for building your home based internet business Marty.

I really appreciate the info graphic tools I am going to check them out.

I want to create a big post to hopefully attract some links to my info graphic but I imagine the free versions are pretty limited, right?

Hi Jeremy, with wealthy Affiliate you can have 2 subdomains for free. You can use the free keyword tool and get your blogs ranked for traffic.
If you want to monetize your website I would recommend buying a .com domain. It costs about $13/year. WA now offers the security certification for free. If you signup for the WA paid account you can have up to 50 websites. It is the most cost effective program with the best learning tools that I know of.
Whatever you would like to do I would like to help if I can. Feel free to message me with any questions.

So, I will try the other four tools that you recommend and I will start by creating some infographics.

    Thanks for sharing this article.

I really like your tool list, especially the part about the Business Plan. This is so important and can go a long way to ensure the success of the business that you just can’t get with winging it. I also use jaaxy and highly recommend it. It is worth every penny. Every other tool use list definitely has it’s place. Thanks for the info. Well done.
